Rapeseed pushed past €500/t in Paris today, while Ukraine's wheat exports are running almost 40% behind last season.
Exchange prices, EUR/t
- Wheat 234.50 +0.25
- Corn 287.75 +2.75
- Rapeseed 505.00 +7.25
- Soybeans 410.81 +0.41
Markets: Euronext rapeseed gained about €7 to €505/t (Nov), helped by firmer crude oil and 2.8 Mt of weekly US soybean export sales, most of it to China. Wheat hardly moved at around €234/t (Dec), corn added almost €3 to about €288/t.
Ukraine: Grain exports for 2026/27 stand at roughly 6.2 Mt, 25% below last year. Corn is the exception at 2.1 Mt, up by two thirds. The overland and Danube routes move about 2.5 Mt a month and are close to full. Rail wagons wait 10 to 30 days at border crossings and around 80 vessels queue for Sulina. A merchant ship sank off Constanța this morning after a suspected drone strike, which keeps Black Sea insurance in focus.
Organic: Bologna's Friday list puts Italian organic high-protein soft wheat at €370 to 380/t and soybeans at €760 to 780/t. In Milan, barley is up €10 and soft wheat up €5 week on week.
What it means for buyers: Soy and oilseed positions are getting dearer, so it pays to cover nearby needs early, and Ukrainian wheat should be planned with wide delivery windows.

Exchange prices are catching their breath, while Ukrainian logistics remain the real constraint for buyers.
Exchange prices, EUR/t

- Corn 290.25 −1.00
- Rapeseed 495.00 +9.25
- Soybeans 407.13 +0.33
Markets: After a slide driven by peace-talk speculation, Euronext wheat steadied near €233/t (Dec). Rapeseed was the standout, up about €9 to €495/t (Nov). Corn eased to roughly €290/t and CBOT soybeans held around €407/t, helped by fresh US sales to China and Spain.
Ukraine: Agri exports reached about 2.4 Mt in September, less than half of what the sector could ship, and there is still no Black Sea corridor in sight. Waits at the Polish border have stretched to 7 to 9 days, truck rates are up by as much as 15% and close to 20,000 loaded rail wagons are queuing.
Organic: Milan's weekly list moved higher across the board. Soft wheat is quoted at €325 to 355/t (+€5), barley gained €10 and feed soybeans reached €770 to 790/t (+€10).
What it means for buyers: For goods of Ukrainian origin, plan extra days into delivery windows and confirm freight before fixing dates.
